愛知県豊橋市に本社を置く総合建設業の株式会社オノコム（代表取締役社長 小野達朗）が、設計施工一貫BIMを採用したプロジェクトを2021年5月13日に竣工した。 複雑化する顧客要求に幅広く対応するため取り組んできた同社初のフルBIM案件となった。
社内のデジタル活用を統括する杉浦裕介執行役員のもと、2015年、当初プレゼン用として導入したBIMツールを、設計や施工で本格稼働させるためAutodesk Revitを社内標準ソフトとして採用。並行してフィリピン支店にBIMチーム（那須貴寛テクニカルマネージャー）を発足させた。2020年6月には、BIM専門部署としてVDC（バーチャル・デザイン・コンストラクション）推進室（林和弘マネージャー）を発足し、以降、更なる体制強化を推し進めている。
社員が無理なくBIMに取り組めるようにと、応用技術がAutodesk Revitのアドインとして提供する『BooT.one』の導入を決定。現在日本が抱えるBIMの人材不足解消を支える、同社のモデリング拠点であるフィリピン支店スタッフのスキルアップと効率化を目的とした決定だった。
冒頭の竣工物件は、斜めのサッシで構成された複雑な構造であるため、計画当初からBIMなしでは実現できないと判断していた事から、BooT.oneに搭載されているテンプレート、集計表、仕上げ・材料表なども活用し、BIMと向き合いながら一つひとつ成果を出し確認申請もスムーズに進んだ。 同社はAutodesk BIM360も活用しており、日本とフィリピンという離れた場所且つ、複数のスタッフが並行して作業を進める事が可能となるコラボレーション機能に魅力を感じている。
Autodesk Revitを標準ツールに据え、設計はもちろん、VR連携、点群データ活用などにより現場での効果的なBIMモデル利用を展開しており、今後は仮設計画などにも積極的に展開して行きたいと考えている。
